Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of JobsiteQuote ("JobsiteQuote," the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and safeguards information in connection with the website located at jobsitequote.com, the JobsiteQuote web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope and Roles

This Privacy Policy applies to (a) subscribers who purchase and use the Service ("Subscribers"); (b) visitors to our website ("Visitors"); and (c) the customers of Subscribers who receive and respond to quotes delivered through the Service ("End Customers"). With respect to End Customer information entered into the Service by a Subscriber, the Company acts as a service provider and processor on behalf of the Subscriber, and the Subscriber is responsible for its own collection and use of such information and for providing any notices and obtaining any consents required by law.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide. We collect the email address associated with your subscription; your business name, business telephone number, and trade; payment links you elect to display; your price book entries; and all quote content you create, including job descriptions, addresses, notes, prices, and photographs.

2.2 End Customer information. Subscribers may enter End Customer names, telephone numbers, email addresses, and property addresses. When an End Customer approves a quote, we collect the typed name provided as an electronic signature, the option selected, the date and time of approval, and the Internet Protocol ("IP") address from which the approval was submitted, for the purpose of maintaining a record of the acceptance.

2.3 Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as your email address, customer and subscription identifiers, and subscription status. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers or security codes.

2.4 Automatically collected information. When you access the Service, our servers and service providers automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, and the dates and times of access. We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. Our marketing website and post-purchase confirmation page use third-party analytics, engagement, and conversion-measurement technologies, which may set cookies or use local browser storage, to measure website traffic quality, attribute subscriptions to marketing sources, and, where you consent, offer a one-time return reminder. These technologies are not used within the logged-in application or on quote pages delivered to End Customers.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to: (a) provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service; (b) create and administer accounts and verify your identity through emailed login links and codes; (c) process subscriptions and verify subscription status; (d) deliver quotes to End Customers and notify Subscribers when quotes are opened or approved; (e) send transactional and service-related communications; (f) respond to inquiries and provide support; (g) monitor and analyze usage, detect fraud and abuse, and improve the Service; (h) enforce our Terms of Service; and (i) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. How We Disclose Information

We disclose information only as follows: (a) to service providers that perform services on our behalf under contractual obligations of confidentiality, including payment processing (Stripe), transactional email delivery (Resend), website analytics, and infrastructure hosting; (b) to End Customers, to the extent a Subscriber transmits a quote containing the Subscriber's business name, telephone number, payment link, photographs, and quote content; (c) to Subscribers, with respect to End Customer approval records relating to that Subscriber's quotes; (d) where required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others; and (e) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to customary confidentiality protections.

5. Quote Links

Each quote is accessible through a unique, randomly generated link. Any person who possesses a quote link may view that quote. Subscribers are responsible for sharing quote links only with intended recipients, and End Customers should not forward quote links to persons they do not wish to view the quote.

6. Data Retention

We retain Subscriber account information and Subscriber Content for as long as the subscription remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter to permit reactivation, after which it may be deleted or de-identified. Approval records may be retained for so long as reasonably necessary to evidence the acceptance of a quote. We may retain information for longer periods where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption of data in transit, storage of login tokens and session identifiers in hashed form, and access restrictions. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to request a copy of your information in a portable format, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise applicable rights by contacting us as set forth below; we will not discriminate against you for exercising any such right. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. End Customers seeking to exercise rights with respect to information entered by a Subscriber should direct their request to that Subscriber; we will assist Subscribers in responding as required by law. You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time, although you will continue to receive communications necessary to provide the Service, such as login emails and billing notices.

9. Children

The Service is intended for business use by individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where the changes are material, provide notice by email or within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Privacy Policy.
